For Updation of New Exe’s in all the authorize branches of CBDT.
Download the dtax.exe, dtx_deal.dll files in the folder named 251204 from
yahoo briefcase / www.pnbindia.com
Copy the dtax.exe ,dtx_deal.dll (files are lying in the yahoo briefcase
/ www.pnbindia.com) to the folder C:\Govtbus\exe.

After day end & before day open of dtax.exe carry out the following
functions:
Run the batch file dtx.bat
file (Which is available in the existing system at C:\Govtbus\exe folder for
registering the registry values of the aforesaid dll).
Open the dtax.exe - Menu maintenance
– open new document icon for initiating the changes in the tables.
Close the dtax.exe for effecting changes
and restart the dtax.exe for general transactions.
Please take the following Precautions: -
At the deal branch level
Make sure the ZAO code and ITO codes are correct and
BSR codes of the branch is correctly set in parameters through Innovaoradb.exe.
OLTAS code Nos. of Nodal Branch and Link Cell are correctly set in the respective
places of Branchmaster under dtax.exe and BankMaster under ChannelGora.exe
along with BSR codes wherever required.
Make sure the branchmaster should upload in impexp database with correct setting of focal & link code
in the parameters.
At
the Nodal branch level
Make sure the ZAO code and ITO codes
are correct and all the branches BSR codes under the particular nodal office
should be correct and modified flag be “N” in the bankmaster of ChannelGora.exe.
Only in case at the nodal office, if
a deal branch is manually operated option should be changed “Y” from “N” in
the branch master of dtax.exe & revert back to “N” after that day’s operation
and authorization carried out by other user-id.
Make sure the branchmaster should upload in impexp database with correct setting of focal & link code
in the parameters in all the branches reporting to nodal office.
Trouble shooting:
Check the BSR codes of Deal / Focal
/ Link are correct in the parameter maintenance in innovaoradb.exe.
The dates of “exe’s” should be the following:

Check
the system should be virus free and MS-DOS should be properly functioned.
