CONCESSIONS
IN SERVICE CHARGES BEING MADE AVAILABLE TO Defence/Ex-servicemen/Paramilitary
Forces:
Our
Bank is extending inter-alia the following concessions
to various categories of “Defence/Ex-servicemen/Paramilitary
Forces Personnel:
1.
At par collection of Salary/Terminal Dues;
2.
At par remittance to family upto Rs.5,000/- once in a
month. However, if the amount of remittance exceeds Rs.5,000/-
but does not exceed Rs.10,000/-, 50% of the commission
chargeable on total remittance amount will be recovered.
Further, they may be allowed one time remittance for payment
of school/college fees in a year. Postage and out of pocket
expenses are to be recovered.”
It
has been observed that there has been a substantial depreciation
in the value of rupee in the last many years vis-a-vis
manifold rise in salaries of the Defence employees. Moreover,
soldiers often receive payments through cheques/drafts
sent by Headquarters at the station of their posting.
With a view to provide better services to Defence Personnel
the above mentioned concessions have been revised with
immediate effect as under:
1.
At par remittance to family upto Rs.10,000/- once in a
month. However, if the amount of remittance exceeds Rs.10,000/-
but does not exceed Rs.20,000/-, 50% of the commission
chargeable on total remittance amount will be recovered.
Further, they may be allowed one time remittance for payment
of school/college fees in a year. Postage and out of pocket
expenses are to be recovered.
2. At par collection of all cheques to be received from
the Govt. in respect of Salary/TA/DA/ Arrears/Terminal
Dues etc. |
