An ancillary service offered by the Bank at very reasonable
rents. |
PNB extends personal
accident insurance (death only) cover
of Rs.2.00 lacs to all the
new locker holders
for one year from the date of leasing of locker. This facility
will be available to the single
or first named locker holder
only (in case of joint locker holders). However,
this facility will not be available to those locker holders
who are already covered under Debit Card Scheme of the Bank.
Similarly the lessees having more than one locker in the bank
shall be eligible for single
insurance cover which will be restricted
to Rs.2.00 lacs only.
All lessees willing to avail the above facility will have
to submit Assignment note of
Insurance Co. (click
here to download the specimen) at
the time of leasing of locker to facilitate speedy settlement
of claim.

You may like to know that:
| Nomination
for Safety Locker |

In
the case of a sole hirer of a safety locker, nomination
can be made in favour of only one individual. |
|
Where
the safety locker is hired from the bank by two or more
individuals, nomination can be made in favour of one or
more persons. |
|
Only
all the safety locker hirers can make change or cancellation
in the nomination in case of safety lockers hired by two
individuals jointly. |
|
Where
the safety locker is hired in the name of a minor, the
nomination shall be made by a person lawfully entitled
to act on behalf of the minor. |
