INDO NEPAL REMITTANCE SCHEME (INREMIT SCHEME)

Facility of INDO Nepal Remittance Available At all PNB Branches At all BC Locations of PNB Kiosks Through PNB Retail Internet Banking & Mobile Banking
Documents Required Identity proof from the remitter viz. citizenship card issued by Nepalese authorities (for Nepalese citizens) and passport / PAN / Driving Licence / Telephone bill / certificate of identification issued by employer with details & photograph etc to ascertain remitter’s identity / residential address in India. INREMIT Slip duly filled in. Click here to Download ‘ INREMIT Slip’ The remitter has to provide Remitter’s details & Beneficiary’s details along with KYC documents, purpose code and description as per RBI guidelines. KYC compliant account with PNB
Other Information Required The address and mobile no. of the remitter as well as the beneficiary in Nepal, Purpose code and description of the transaction.
Charges

Rs 3/- per thousand or part thereof (Minimum Rs 50/-) plus applicable GST.

However, if the payout mode at Nepal is other than credit to EBL account, i.e. for credit to an account maintained at a bank other than EBL, an additional charge of Rs 312.50/- (NPR 500) is charged by Everest Bank, Kathmandu, Nepal as handling fee/ processing charges.

Limit

No limit if amount is tendered through account maintained with PNB or through cheque of any other bank in India

Maximum ceiling for Indo Nepal remittance has been fixed at Rs.25000.00 from BC locations per day per person (remitter). However, for higher amount the same may be done directly from the branches as usual. Up to Rs 50000/-
Payment Mode
  • Credit in account maintained with EBL branches.
  • Credit in account maintained with any other bank in Nepal.
  • Cash payment to beneficiary on ID basis through branches of Everest Bank Limited & their payout agents location in all over Nepal.

Remitter’s Details Name, Address, Mobile number, ID (proof) / ID Number: Citizenship certificate, Driving license, Passport, PAN Card, any other document recognized as identity proof as per KYC guidelines issued by RBI in the matter, Purpose code and Purpose Description of the transaction.

Procedure for Remittance through PNB Retail Internet Banking

Login in PNB Retail Internet Banking. Go to the Transactions menu option, under the “Transfer to other Bank Accounts” menu, following modes for making Indo Nepal remittance would be available:

Indo Nepal Remittance using Account ID

  • EBL Account Transfer (if beneficiary had the account in EBL)
  • Non EBL Account Transfer (if beneficiary had Non EBL account)

Indo Nepal Remittance using National Identity

  • Pass port
  • Driving license
  • Citizen ship card.

Select the relevant option and fill all the details and click on submit button.

Procedure for Remittance through Mobile Banking
  • Login in to the mobile banking (app/browser).
  • Go to the Main Menu.
  • Click on Funds transfer Menu option.
  • Click on Indo-Nepal Remittance Menu option.
Following links will be displayed:
  • Indo Nepal Transfer using Account Id
  • Indo Nepal Transfer using National Id
After selecting the relevant option, fill all the details
